Department of Aeronautical Engineering;

Aeronautical Engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the design, manufacture, testing and maintenance of flight-capable machines. These machines include all types of aircraft, helicopters, drones and missiles. Aeronautical Engineering students work in the fields of aircraft design, aerodynamics and structural analysis, aircraft materials, flight mechanics and control by taking courses focused on mathematics and physics.

The Aeronautical Engineering Department of Sivas University of Science and Technology, which was established in 2018, admitted undergraduate students for the first time in 2022. Our department provides 100% English education. In our department, there are departments of Aviation and Aircraft Technology, Control, Aircraft Structures and Materials. There are one (1) Associate Professor, three (3) Assistant Professors and nine (9) Research Assistants in our department.

Aeronautical Engineers, who graduated from Sivas University of Science and Technology, Department of Aeronautical Engineering, can basically find a job in an industrial company engaged in design-production, in an airline company engaged in maintenance-repair or in an academy.
