Students placed in any undergraduate program where the language of instruction is English must certify their English proficiency to begin their department. At least 60 points or more from the SBTU Proficiency Exam held at the beginning of the semester or; (1) Students who have completed their last three years of secondary education in a country where English is spoken as their mother tongue are deemed exempt from Foreign Language Preparatory Education. (2) A student who has Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): C Level, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): C Level, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL IBT): 72 or Pearson Test of English (PTE 6 ACADEMIC):55 or above and certifies it, is exempted from preparatory education.

The 3+1 or 7+1 education models are Applied at SBTU. Within the scope of the 3+1 Education Model implemented by SBTU, associate degree students spend three semesters at school and one semester as full-time interns in businesses.  Within the scope of the 7+1 Education Model implemented, undergraduate students spend seven semesters at school and one semester as full-time interns in a company. Within the scope of the practices of transforming knowledge into products, analysis, design and production experience is gained through projects carried out jointly with workplaces and the industry. In addition, training, internship, simulation and application-oriented curriculum programs prepared by considering the needs and demands of the industry are implemented.

Sivas University of Science and Technology students; Within the scope of the Erasmus+ program, can study abroad for one or two semesters with agreements and protocols made between other higher education institutions in Europe and other countries. It can benefit from education and internship mobility. Erasmus+ program is an exchange program run by the European Union. It aims to increase and improve the quality of inter-university education by encouraging the cooperation of higher education institutions in European Union countries. With Erasmus+ Exchange Programs, students are offered the opportunity to go abroad during their university period. Within the scope of the program; It provides non-refundable financial support in the form of a grant so that higher education institutions can produce and implement joint projects with each other and make short-term student and personnel exchanges. Our library is established on an area of 381.74 m2 and there are desktop computers for users to benefit from catalogue scanning and research activities. In addition, smart systems are used to carry out transactions such as publication count, and loan-return transactions in a fast and trouble-free manner. Our library, which adopts a user-oriented service approach, is open 24/7. In the age of technology that is developing day by day, it continues to serve by raising the bar in its works.
