Department of Plant Protection;
The Department of Plant Protection is a discipline that encompasses all strategies aimed at controlling harmful insects, illnesses, and weeds that cause difficulties in cultivated plants and agricultural products derived from them, as well as limiting the damage caused by these elements. The Department of Plant Protection, which concentrates its research on the issue of plant health, has the funding, dominance, and academic infrastructure to fill in all the gaps in this area.
In 2020, our department began graduate-level education and training activities, and in 2022, we enrolled the first undergraduate students. Undergraduate education is entirely in Turkish.
On their request, our students can take a year of English preparatory instruction at the School of Foreign Languages. There are two Professors, four Associate Professors, and one Assistant Professor as the Faculty Member in our department, and have research experience in Entomology and Phytopathology.
